We are easy to reach by car or plane. 

For guests wishing to save travel time, you may now fly directly to Winnipeg, Manitoba or International Falls, Minnesota through Minneapolis daily with Northwest or United Airlines.  From either airport we are only 2 hours away.  Many of our guests rent a vehicle or use a van service for the last leg of their trip into Kenora.

For those who drive, travel to International Falls, Minnesota.  Clear Customs at Fort Frances, Ontario.  Travel Highway 71 North, 130 miles to Highway 17.  Turn left on Highway 17 and travel eleven miles to Kenora. 


Departure time to Eagle Island is 2:00 p.m. on your scheduled day of arrival from the River Air Seaplane Base on the Second Street Dock in downtown Kenora.

Many of our guests arrive in Kenora the day of their scheduled trip.  However, some guests prefer to arrive in Kenora the day before their trip to relax and enjoy local attractions and to shop for any supplies they may need.  For those arriving early and spending an overnight in Kenora, we recommend staying at either the Comfort Inn (807) 468-8845 or the Best Western Lakeside Inn (807) 468-5521.  Grocery stores, bait shops and restaurants are all within close proximity to both hotels.
